Por si 3000 destellos de flash no fueron suficientes, la Asociación Fotográfica de Toledo ha vuelto a reunir voluntarios en un trabajo de coordinación increíble para iluminar su ciudad y el valle del Tajo con 5000 disparos. El propio presidente de la asociación, Daniel Martín -dani_mac en nuestros foros- y José María Moreno, coordinador del trabajo, nos cuentan la historia detrás de la fotografía. En breve publicaremos además un artículo más extenso con el making-off.

If you think 3000 flashes were not enough, the Photographic Association of Toledo has gone further. They have reunited again volunteers in an incredible coordination effort to illuminate their city and the Tajo river valley with 5000 flashes. The president of the association, Daniel Martin, and José María Moreno, coordinator of the project, tell us the story behind the picture. We will soon post another article with the full making-off.

Lo volvimos hacer, el pasado 18 de junio y de la mano de José María Moreno junto con 70 fotógrafos de la Asociación Fotográfica de Toledo, con sus flashes y durante una hora, iluminaron el valle del Tajo a su paso por Toledo con más de 5000 destellos. Al mismo tiempo, desde el Cerro del Bu, morada de los primeros toledanos, tres cámaras captaron la escena mediante 1000 fotografías que la tecnología fundió, en un fuerte abrazo de amistad, con esta ciudad única, Patrimonio de la Humanidad.

We did it again. On June the 18th José María Moreno along with 70 photographers from the Photographic Association of Toledo with their flash units and during one hour illuminated the Tajo river valley at Toledo with over 5000 flashes. At the same time, from the «Cerro del Bu» hill, home of the first Toledo inhabitants, three cameras captured the scene with 1000 pictures that technology merged, in a big friendship hug, with this unique city, World Heritage site.

Queremos dar las gracias a todos los que han participado y han hecho posible de nuevo, la realización de una fotografía sin igual, así como aquellas personas que estuvieron interesadas pero por imprevistos de última hora no pudieron participar muy a su pesar y tantos que de algún u otro modo nos han deseado lo mejor en este proyecto.
